Here's a look at my score card. Like I said before they don't give us much of a range to work with. When I turned in my final set of cards Cynthia and I returned to those I awarded 10s to tell them so. They both gave Cynthia some of the same BBQ I had so she could share in the experience. I was stuffed. We walked around more and visited the Boar's Night Out team. They offered Cynthia their ribs which she says were amazing. A little later we found out they made the top 3 where a separate panel of 4 judges will visit them on site for the final judging. They took 2nd place. So out of 105 rib entries Cynthia tasted #2 and #4 - not bad. Now I need to step up my game at home. We were so stuffed and tired from the long day that we passed on that dinner invitation and had a long nap back in the hotel before driving the 4 hours back home. Who knows, we may go again in 2011.
