After a short stay back in Torre Orsina I took a train up to visit my good friend Captain Christine Voss who just arrived in Aviano. The movers delivered her household goods that day. Christine speaks Italian, as well as French and Spanish, so she settled into her new place and made her way through the Italian red-tape. We had a gelato or two from the local pastry shop. I first met Christine in 1988 when we were going through training at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS.
